I'm also not a programmer so I know how it can be frustrating to through coding to place, rotate and scale items. A way to scale and place items easily into your World without going through lua code is also in the making, it will be called "World editor". However they are not our top priority at this time. Slopes can be coded, it would be hard to do for non-coders in this current version but a better way to do it will happen later. Perhaps you see yours if you do, leave a note in the comments.Thank you for your feedback! You have great suggestions, and most of them are planned in the future. Many of the individual pavers are readable in the photos above. You can see in photos 16, 17 and 18 that there are more names and pavers to come these should all be finished by Opening Night. The ones that have appeared so far: Ron Santo, Ryne Sandberg, Phil Cavarretta, Sammy Sosa, Greg Maddux, Bill Buckner, Vince Lloyd, Mark Grace, Glenn Beckert, Harry Caray, Leo Durocher, Lou Boudreau and Andre Dawson. They're divided up into sections which are named after Cubs great players, managers or broadcasters of the past. David says that the photos are in sequence, going from the north end of Sheffield, south toward Addison. As you can tell in the photo gallery above, the Cubs aren't quite finished installing all of them. The pavers are now installed on the sidewalks outside the bleachers on Sheffield Avenues.īCB's David Sameshima took photos of the pavers that are already installed. The Cubs promised people who had paid for these brick pavers, most of them commemorating their own Cubs fandom or in memory of family members, that they'd reappear at some point. When the Wrigley Field renovation/restoration project began, one of the first things that changed was the removal of brick pavers that had been purchased by fans and installed near the main entrance at Clark & Addison.
